ViaBTC at IX Crypto Summit 2026: Reliable Mining and Flexible Earnings Management

The ninth Crypto Summit took place on October 28–29 at MTS Live Hall in Moscow, with ViaBTC attending as a Strategic Partner. Throughout the event, ViaBTC discussed mining operations, payouts, and asset management with miners and industry partners. The team drew on its experience serving miners to explain how reliable pool services and all-in-one earnings management could meet their changing operational needs.

On the first day, ViaBTC hosted the panel “Mining in 2026: Profitability, New Opportunities, and Growth Areas,” moderated by Alina Kakicheva, ViaBTC Business Development Manager. Speakers from mining operations, infrastructure providers, and industry organizations shared their perspectives on how operating costs, power supply, and specialist services affected mining businesses.

Anton Tsarenok, Director of Business Development at ViaBTC, shared insights from the company’s experience operating mining pools since 2016. He noted that miners made long-term commitments to equipment, power, and facilities, and needed a pool they could rely on throughout that time—one that maintained its infrastructure and provided responsive support. For miners, reliability came down to everyday experience: whether connections remained stable, earnings records were clear, and help was available when needed. He emphasized that these experiences built trust over time and formed the basis of lasting relationships between miners and their pool.

The following day, Alina delivered a presentation titled “What a miner needs to know about pool mining in 2026.” She opened with a question: should miners add more hashrate or focus on reducing losses? From there, she explored how equipment investment translated into business results. She noted that miners using identical equipment and paying the same electricity rates could still earn different amounts, highlighting connection quality, payout methods, and operational losses as factors worth examining.

On connectivity, she discussed the links between mining equipment, networks, and the pool. Even when machines were running normally, interruptions or delayed share submissions could affect the work credited by the pool and, in turn, mining earnings. Ongoing monitoring helped identify problems, while tested backup connections could reduce the impact of interruptions.

Turning to payouts, Alina used ViaBTC’s PPS+ and PPLNS options to explain how different methods could suit different operating needs. She encouraged miners to consider their operating cycles and tolerance for short-term earnings fluctuations when choosing a method. Understanding how earnings were calculated and what affected daily credits also helped miners assess performance against expectations. She also stressed the distinction between estimated earnings, amounts actually credited to an account, and profit after operating costs.

The presentation then addressed what happened after earnings reached miners’ accounts. The coins they mined were not always the assets they wanted to accumulate or use in their business, and repeated manual conversions could add to their workload. Alina introduced Auto Conversion as a way for miners to manage their proceeds according to how they planned to hold or use those assets.

ViaBTC’s Auto Conversion automatically converts supported coin balances into BTC or USDT based on the miner’s settings. Miners can manage those settings and review conversion records within their pool accounts, reducing the need for repeated manual conversions.

Mining reliability and earnings management also featured in conversations with miners throughout the two-day event. In response to local miners’ concerns about connection stability, the ViaBTC team outlined its globally distributed node infrastructure and connection options for Europe, explaining how regional pool connections and backup options helped support stable mining operations.

The team also introduced ViaBTC’s all-in-one earnings management services, covering earnings records, account assets, Auto Conversion, and withdrawals. For miners managing earnings in several coins or looking to reduce repetitive tasks, these services made it easier to handle mining proceeds according to their plans for holding assets and covering operating expenses. Miners also shared feedback on connection reliability and their experience using ViaBTC’s earnings management tools.

At IX Crypto Summit, ViaBTC shared its experience in pool operations and earnings management while learning more about miners’ needs across different markets. The discussions and presentations highlighted how reliable pool services and flexible tools for managing mining proceeds could support miners’ day-to-day operations and long-term plans.
